Michael J. Krajci, 73
Michael J. Krajci, age 73, died Friday, Nov. 11 at Newton Medical Center. Mr. Krajci, son of the late John and Mary (Adamovic) Krajci was born in Franklin April 14, 1938. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin.
Mr. Krajci was a Product Engineer for Howmet Corp. in Dover for 35 years, retiring in 2000. He served with the U.S. Army in the late 1950's. Mr. Krajci was a member and Past Grand Knight of General Judson Kilpatrick Knights of Columbus Council #5563 of Vernon. He was also a member of the Franklin Rifle and Revolver Association.
He was predeceased by a sister Theresa Krajci in 1997 and is survived by his wife Gloria (Conklin) Krajci, son, Michael J. Krajci Jr. of Franklin, sister, Mary Krajci of Franklin, granddaughter, Kellyann Krajci and a niece and three nephews.
Funeral services were held Nov. 15 from F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street in Franklin to Immaculate Conception RC Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or to Gen. Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is celebrating their 7th annual Blessing of the Pets on the Green and parking lot behind the Cathedral. In connection with the blessing, a Pet Celebration and vendor fair will be available with activities for pets and owners. The celebration will begin at 2:00 pm concluding with the procession of pets and blessing beginning at 3:30pm. All animals are welcome as long as leashed, properly restrained.
