Hamilton County Library used book sale is this weekend
The Friends of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County is hosting its semi annual warehouse used book sale this weekend.
The sale begins Thursday, Aug. 25 and runs through Aug. 28 at 8456 Vine Street in Hartwell.
This is one of two annual opportunities to shop the warehouse's entire contents of nearly 80,000 books and other items at bargain prices.
There are plenty of fiction and children's books, as well as nonfiction, self help and a few sets of encyclopedias.
Thousands of classical and jazz LPs are priced at $1 per disk, as well as movies and other films on VHS. CDs and DVDs are $3.
Book prices begin at $1 for paperbacks, but some children's books are only 50 cents.
All purchases on Sunday, Aug. 28 will be 50 percent off.
Hours are Thursday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 26 and Saturday, Aug. 27, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 28 from noon to 5 p.m.
